Research and Development
Dr. Ratsimbazafy is 38 years old, Phd in entomology, he started the SEPALI project in 2006 by sensitizing the farmers to plant trees for the endemic moths of Madagascar. Since then, CPALI farmers have planted over 20,000 trees. Those who are rearing wild silkworms are considered as a wizard in the local belief.

Ms. Cathy is 20 years old, after her dad became sick, she had to work to finance her younger sibling's studies. She is happy to work for SEPALI and wants to gain more experience.

Mr. Tsola is 20 years old, he was guarding pirogue before working for SEPALI. He didn't finish the elementatry school due to his parents lack of money.
Today, his goal is to help his 3 years old son finish his studies.

Shipping
Mrs. Lalaina is 35 years old, leader of the women artisans association. Maroantsetra is isolated from the rest of the world and shipping the final product abroad by plane is twice expensive than the salary of all the workers and the raw materials cost combined.
